2 Cards

I made this card a couple of weeks ago. The flowers were embossed in silver and then I colored the center of the flower brown.

I love, love, LOVE this card!! It found an idea similar to this on Splitcoast Stampers. I made this one for my Grandma. Her favorite colors are orange and peach. I think I'll be duplicating this one...and see what other color combos look like, too!

Hi Christina,

Ouuuu! I love your cards the soft light one with the tall flowers is dreamy. Love the way you have the gems. And the one for your grandma! Those colours are amazing! SO bright and beautiful.

About your embossing the markers question. This is a bit of a ramble, but here's a summary of how I did it & a shot at an alternate way to do it : The dress was a template that I drew, I actually cheated and embossed the dress template by running gesso cardstock through my printer. Another way to do it would be to print the template out & trace the outline with a Sakura quickie glue pen (then sprinkle on embossing powder.) That would get you an embossed outline for the dress

An alternate way to emboss the marker colours... you could try putting versamark on your stamp and then markering it. Huff on it a lot, stamp & then emboss right away. It might work. The gesso paper really makes an amazing difference though.

Hope that helps & that it works for you. Thanks again for your kind words. You made my day in a BIG way! :0) mel
