Hello! It feels like forever since I last scrapbooked (aka working on Project Life), when really, it's only been a few weeks. You may laugh at me, but I'm having a hard time remembering what it was like to scrapbook whenever I wanted for all of those years before I had Jeralyn. Last night I was having one of those guilty moments that I haven't been keeping up with scrapbooking as I had hoped. But I was too tired to scrap last night and I know that if I stay up too late it will take me a long time to fall asleep. Having a baby changes everything, and having a toddler REALLY changes everything. She's a busy little bee, buzzing around non-stop. The last few weeks have been busy, so I haven't had my normal time of playing in Photoshop for a bit during her blanket time in the morning. And the only reason I got to scrap this evening is because Quent wasn't hogging the computer. Ha!
And did I mention before that I'm selling off my stamping stuff on eBay? Every single thing I listed (aside from one thing) sold! I have more to sell, I'm just working up the nerve to list a bunch of stuff again--because when I do I have packages to weigh, packing slips to print, and post office visits to make. But it's so worth it! When I stopped stamping a few years ago, Quent encouraged me to keep my stuff in storage for 6 months just to make sure. Well, it's been multiple 6 months and I am safe to say I am no longer stamping--which is really weird to say after being a Stampin Up! demonstrator! Maybe some day I will pick up that hobby again, but for now I am completely satisfied with being a mom, digital scrapbooking, knitting, being a homemaker, etc. It was bittersweet to sell off almost all of my ink pads and stamps, but I must admit I am happy to see it go and to pocket some cash at the same time. Whew!
I'm currently looking for a new knitting project to work on. I have 3 buttons to sew on to my latest project and then it will be done. Why do I keep putting that off? Oops!
For the pages below I used Frolic.
