I haven't been keeping up with the 12 Tags of Christmas like I would have liked, but I have been using some of the techniques Tim talks about for the tags. I've been learning a lot and I'm enjoying that! So today I couldn't help but purchase some Distress Crackle Paint and have some fun.
I had orginally painted all of these chipboard flowers (SU die-cuts) red, but when I came home with the distress paint, I decided I would do that instead. I painted them, and came back about an hour later and it was dry and crackled. It was so cool!! One of these days I'm going to watch it crackle. Haha!
Then I dripped some drops of the alcohol ink onto a paint dish and sponged the color onto the flowers. I love the results!
